City Hall is located at 319 Bremond Street. Office hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. We are closed for the following holidays: New Years Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving and the day after, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
City Property Taxes
The tax rate for 2015 for the City is .45326/$100. Property tax payments should be made at the Robertson County Tax Assessor's office at 315 N. Center St. or by mail to P.O. All new structures within the City limits must have a building permit before construction can begin. The permit cost is based on the value of the structure being built. For residential construction the minimum fee will be calculated on a valuation of $66 per heated square foot.
Manufactured Home Permits
Before a manufactured home can be moved into the City limits, the owner must obtain a permit from City hall. The permit cost is $50. The home must be a HUD-code manufactured home and be pre-approved by the City before the home can be moved into the City. The owner of the home must adhere to all provisions of the Ordinance governing Manufactured Homes. For details on the provisions, please contact City Hall.
Travel Trailers/Recreational vehicles cannot be used within the City limits as a residence (defined as occupied for longer than 14 days in any one 30-day period).
Located in the 500 block of N. Hearne street, City park contains playground equipment for kids, picnic tables and fields for baseball and softball. The park is used by the Little League organization for practice and games.
